Traditional Handcut Roof

This large L shape dormer roof was hand-made onsite, featuring nine small dormer windows. At one end the roof featured a hipped section incorporating two Velux windows, while the other south facing elevation had a balcony overlooking the beautiful Island countryside.

Oak Breakfront Library

The library was finished with a delicate graphite stain, which elegantly brought out the stunning oak grain pattern. This choice of stain added a touch of sophistication and depth to the overall aesthetic of the space. Additionally, the design of the library cleverly included two secret doors that seamlessly connected it to an adjacent room. These hidden passages added an element of intrigue and mystery to the library, creating a sense of adventure for those who explored it.

"We are delighted with our exquisite custom-made Oak Roll Top Desk. It took us several months searching for a roll top desk that would perfectly fit in the designated area and accommodate all the office items we have gathered throughout the years. Additionally, it was crucial for the desk to accommodate modern electronics, including a printer, laptop, and iPad, among others. Most antique models are primarily designed for letters, paper, and pens, making it a challenge to find one that meets our specific requirements.

We are extremely satisfied with the outcome of our collaboration with John and Dan. With their assistance, we were able to meticulously specify every detail of the desk, including its size, shape, and configuration. Moreover, their expertise in designing drawer sizes and doors enabled us to customize the desk to accommodate our specific needs.
